# VS (Windows) – Camera material doesn't show up in the layer

If you're using VS on Windows and the camera material doesn't display when loaded into a layer (even if it previews correctly in the browser), this is likely caused by a Windows camera sharing setting.
To fix this, enable multi-app camera access in Windows:

1. Open **Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras**
2. Select your camera from the **Connected Cameras** list
3. Click **Edit** in the **Advanced camera options** section
4. Toggle **"Allow multiple apps to use camera at the same time"** to **ON**

After enabling this setting, the camera material should display correctly in your layer.
