VS (Windows) – Camera material doesn't show up in the layer
If you're using VS on Windows and the camera material doesn't display when loaded into a layer (even if it previews correctly in the browser), this is likely caused by a Windows camera sharing setting.
To fix this, enable multi-app camera access in Windows:
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras
- Select your camera from the Connected Cameras list
- Click Edit in the Advanced camera options section
- Toggle "Allow multiple apps to use camera at the same time" to ON
After enabling this setting, the camera material should display correctly in your layer.
