How to Load Images and Videos in VS 2 (iOS)

VS 2 offers two ways to load images and videos into a layer on iOS.

Option 1 — Layer Thumbnail Long Press

Long press a layer thumbnail to reveal a context menu with the following options:

  • Photos — opens the system photo picker, allowing you to browse and select images from your photo library.
  • Files — opens the system file browser, allowing you to select files from any accessible location on your device.

Note: To load videos, use the Files option — videos are not accessible through the Photos picker.

Option 2 — VS Browser

  1. Double-tap a layer thumbnail to open the VS Browser.
  2. Select the Images/Videos provider.
  3. Under Bookmarks, tap the folder icon to add a folder as a shortcut.
  4. Once added, you can browse and load files from that folder directly within the VS Browser.

Both methods give you flexible access to your media — use the long-press approach for quick, one-off imports, and the VS Browser for ongoing access to a dedicated media folder.
